Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated areas of Durham
- Administer medications as required by pet owners
- Provide real-time photo/video updates during walks
- Maintain detailed records of pet behavior and service times
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all animal interactions
- Manage scheduling and client communication via our app
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal transportation and smartphone
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR preferred
- Exceptional time management and punctuality
- Strong communication skills with pet owners
- Ability to handle large or reactive dogs
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
