Responsibilities
- Provide safe and engaging on-leash walks for 2-4 dogs per group
- Administer medication and monitor pet health during outings
- Maintain detailed digital activity reports for each client
- Practice strict safety protocols during transport and walks
- Build strong relationships with pet owners through clear communication
- Handle waste disposal responsibly and maintain cleanliness
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet behavior and safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle with pet-safe restraints and climate control
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Exceptional time management and punctuality skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and walk in varied weather conditions
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
