Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs at a time using proper leash techniques
- Provide timely bathroom breaks and hydration during walks
- Administer basic medications with owner's written instructions
- Log detailed activity reports (duration, behavior, observations)
- Transport pets to/from designated meeting points using reliable vehicle
- Maintain clean equipment and professional appearance
- Communicate effectively with pet owners via app/text updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling/walking experience
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
- Current pet first/CPR certification preferred
- Reliable smartphone with data plan
- Physical ability to walk 3+ miles daily in various weather
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
