Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Durham neighborhoods while adhering to client preferences
- Provide companionship and ensure the well-being of each dog during outings
- Maintain detailed records of walks, feeding schedules, and behavioral observations
- Clean up after pets and maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their dogs' behavior and needs
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
- Adhere to all safety protocols and local leash laws
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Previous dog handling or pet care experience strongly preferred
- Must be physically capable of handling dogs of all sizes
