Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Tucson neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and basic care during visits
- Maintain detailed client notes and care logs
- Administer medications (with proper training)
- Transport pets to vet appointments or playdates as needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals
- Communicate effectively with pet owners via app/text
- Adhere to company scheduling and reliability standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Availability weekday mornings/afternoons and weekends
- Knowledge of Tucson's pet-friendly areas and weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
