Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Restock merchandise and ensure product displays are well-merchandised and up-to-date.
- Answer incoming phone calls and handle customer questions professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and security.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new point-of-sale systems quickly.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
