Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and transactions efficiently and professionally.
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and fully stocked to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
- Collaborate with the evening/weekend team to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with patience and empathy, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and security checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new point-of-sale systems quickly.
