Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate learning activities for children aged 6 months to 5 years
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents about children's daily progress and milestones
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement curriculum plans
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Document children's development and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or ECE certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of professional childcare experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or weekends
- Passion for early childhood education and development
- Must be physically able to lift 25-30 lbs regularly
