Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with any questions regarding products or services.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring all register counts match.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
- Assist with bagging purchases and ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
