Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using our modern POS system
- Provide outstanding service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns
- Handle cash, checks, and digital payments with precision and accuracy
- Bag groceries carefully and assist with carryout as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and restock supplies
- Support inventory management by scanning items and monitoring stock levels
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled)
