Responsibilities
- Ring up customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Bag merchandise and maintain a clean, organized checkout lane.
- Assist with stocking shelves and keeping the sales floor tidy.
- Process returns and handle customer service issues professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
