Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and promptly.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist with inventory management and price checks as needed.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
