As a Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied with their shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict adherence to company cash handling policies.
- Bag and organize customer purchases neatly and securely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, price checks, and stocking shelves when not at the register.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and diplomacy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, cashier, or customer service roles is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
