Your Role:
As a Cashier, you will be the face of our brand. You will ensure our customers leave satisfied while maintaining accurate financial records. We value integrity, speed, and a friendly smile.
Responsibilities
- Ring up customers accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict adherence to security and audit procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations.
- Process returns, exchanges, and manage inventory at the register.
- Monitor and replenish register supplies (bags, receipt paper, etc.) as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales floor team to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
