Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, friendly greeting to all customers as they enter the store.
- Process Transactions: Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and gift cards with precision.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers in finding products, answering inquiries, and providing product recommendations.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area tidy, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Return Handling: Efficiently process returns and exchanges while adhering to company policies.
- Inventory Support: Assist in stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous cash handling or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Math Skills: Strong basic math skills for accurate cash transactions.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
