Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to scan items, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Cash Management: Reconcile daily cash drawers accurately, maintain cash float, and adhere to all security and auditing protocols.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area and sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Inventory Support: Assist in checking stock levels and ensuring product displays are fully stocked and priced correctly.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure high service standards during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, cashier, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Math Skills: Strong ability to handle cash, make change, and perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately.
