Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional service.
- Handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card payments responsibly.
- Bag merchandise and assist customers with loading vehicles.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Assist with inventory checks and stocking shelves as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
