As a Cashier, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict adherence to cash-handling policies.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product locations and store policies.
- Keep the checkout area and store aisles clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
