Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection and checkout.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area at all times.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
