Responsibilities
- Operate POS Systems: Efficiently process customer transactions using our point-of-sale system, handling various payment methods including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly upon entry, answer questions about products, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Cash Management: Accurately handle cash deposits, manage the cash drawer, and perform end-of-day reconciliations with strict attention to detail.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with bags and supplies at all times.
- Assist with Operations: Support store management with inventory stocking, price changes, and ensuring store standards are met during your shift.
- Problem Solving: Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally and escalate issues to a supervisor when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or cash handling is a plus but not required; we provide paid training.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Skills: Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle cash accurately under pressure.
- Schedule: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
