Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist in bagging groceries and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is a plus but not required (we will train the right candidate).
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
