Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Manage the cash register, ensure proper change, and balance the drawer at the end of each shift.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
