Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Accurately handle cash, credit, and digital payments while balancing the register at the end of the shift.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and bags.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering general in-store inquiries.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
