Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and assist with product selection or directions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and sales floor throughout your shift.
- Restock merchandise and organize inventory on the sales floor as needed.
- Accurately handle cash drawers, end-of-shift reporting, and balance daily transactions.
- Assist in implementing promotional displays and upselling products to meet sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods (typically 4-8 hours).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliable internet access for onboarding and communication.
