Responsibilities
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process payments including cash, credit, and debit cards with precision.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and item inquiries professionally.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with bagging items and maintaining a tidy sales floor.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Previous cashier experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be available on weekends and holidays.
