Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area and store environment.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items, and provide general store information.
- Keep the sales floor stocked and tidy, ensuring inventory is displayed correctly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
