Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to ring up sales, process payments, and handle returns efficiently.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve any issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Cash Management: Handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card transactions with strict attention to accuracy and balance the register at the end of the shift.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout counter clean, organized, and well-stocked with bags, receipt paper, and promotional materials.
- Assist Operations: Help maintain inventory levels at the register and assist in stocking shelves as needed during downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Skills: Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle money with high accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
