As a Cashier, you are the face of our brand. You will ensure our customers have a seamless shopping experience while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. We pride ourselves on our fast-paced yet friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area, including restocking bags and cleaning the register.
- Assist with bagging groceries and answering customer inquiries regarding products and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., bags of groceries).
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
