Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer purchases.
- Greet customers warmly as they enter and exit the store, providing friendly and helpful service.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Bag groceries and ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions about our inventory.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
