Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries.
- Manage the cash drawer with 100% accuracy, including balancing the till at the end of each shift.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and voids according to company policy.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean sales floor.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new POS systems.
