Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm, professional demeanor and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict attention to detail and accountability.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Restock shelves and merchandise to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus, but we provide training.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
