Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and register balancing.
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to count change accurately under pressure.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
