Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Provide friendly, personalized service through greeting customers and answering product inquiries
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments with proper reconciliation procedures
- Bag purchases securely and assist with carryout services for elderly or disabled customers
- Monitor checkout area cleanliness and restock supplies to maintain professional appearance
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or maintenance issues to management
- Uphold food safety standards and company policies during all interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred; open to motivated students
- Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience required
