Responsibilities
- Ring up sales accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and offer assistance.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and store aisles.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy.
- Assist in stocking shelves and keeping the store presentable.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
