Responsibilities
- Process customer payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer product inquiries, and resolve issues
- Bag groceries, maintain clean checkout areas, and organize store displays
- Assist with inventory management and stock shelves as needed
- Adhere to all safety, security, and loss prevention protocols
- Support team members during peak hours and special promotions
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/credit transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
