Responsibilities

- Process customer transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with strict attention to accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including bagging groceries or products efficiently.
- Assist with answering customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Participate in store operations, including stocking shelves or restocking bags as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in retail or cashier positions is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
