Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service through greeting, assisting with product inquiries, and resolving issues
- Bag groceries efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Scan, verify, and price merchandise using barcode scanners and manual entry methods
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas including restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with inventory management by identifying discrepancies and reporting shortages
- Support team members with stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance during downtime
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
