Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems accurately while processing cash, credit, and digital payments
- Scan merchandise, bag groceries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers with product inquiries and special requests
- Maintain clean checkout areas and organize checkout lanes
- Handle returns/exchanges according to company policy
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages
- Support store operations by restocking shelves and maintaining displays
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn POS systems
