Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer transactions using POS systems with 100% accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service through friendly greetings and product knowledge
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining balanced registers
- Bag groceries and assist customers with carryout services
- Monitor checkout areas for cleanliness and restock supplies
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly or escalate to management
- Support store operations by assisting with inventory and merchandising
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic computer literacy with POS system experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
