Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately using POS systems while maintaining security protocols
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Operate cash registers, handle cash, and balance daily transactions
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Bag groceries and assist customers with loading purchases
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and store standards
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues appropriately
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
