Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide friendly, efficient checkout experience while maintaining a clean work area
- Assist customers with product location information and promotions
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment methods securely
- Perform basic inventory checks and stock replenishment duties
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Adhere to all store safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Previous retail/cashier experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Reliable transportation to store location
