Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide outstanding service through product knowledge, friendly demeanor, and efficient problem-solving
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Handle returns/exchanges per company policy while upholding customer satisfaction
- Operate scanning equipment and process payments (cash, credit, mobile)
- Monitor checkout lanes for security and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours and special events
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
