Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Bag merchandise efficiently and offer assistance with carryout services
- Operate scanning equipment and handle various payment methods (cash, credit, mobile)
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas and surrounding zones
- Assist with inventory tasks, price checks, and promotional displays
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
