Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
- Provide outstanding customer service with warm greetings and product knowledge
- Scan items, handle cash/credit payments, and maintain cash drawer integrity
- Bag groceries efficiently and offer carryout assistance
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Resolve customer inquiries with patience and professionalism
- Assist with inventory management and store stocking as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6+ months cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Basic POS system knowledge (training provided)
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
