Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide outstanding service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns
- Bag groceries and assist with carryout services
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and store appearance
- Operate cash registers, handle cash/credit transactions, and reconcile drawers
- Support inventory management and price verification tasks
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred (not required)
- Strong math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
