Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor upon entry to the store.
- Manage the checkout process efficiently, including operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Process returns and exchanges while adhering to company policy and security protocols.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked to maintain high visual standards.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, hours, and services.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with handheld scanners or POS systems.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
