Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages including espresso, lattes, and seasonal creations
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment to perfection
- Provide personalized customer service with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and daily reconciliation accurately
- Uphold strict sanitation standards across all workstations and equipment
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless operations
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies
- Contribute to a positive team culture through open communication and mutual support
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and POS transactions
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn brewing techniques
- Reliable transportation to and from the coffee shop location
