Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm, professional smile and a friendly demeanor.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, processing cash, credit, and check transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Handle customer inquiries, process returns and exchanges, and resolve complaints professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and stock promotional materials.
- Collaborate with floor staff to ensure smooth store operations and inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and cash handling procedures.
- Bag purchases neatly and assist with carry-out service when needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail for cash handling.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
