Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including sanitizing equipment, restocking supplies, and cleaning tables and floors.
- Point of Sale: Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments with accuracy.
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and plating of food items, ensuring freshness and presentation meet our high standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow baristas and management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We value enthusiasm and a positive work ethic over prior barista experience. Training will be provided.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Reliability: Ability to arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic Math: Comfort with basic math for cash handling and inventory purposes.
- Availability: Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
