Responsibilities
- Receiving & Processing: Inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality before storing them in designated areas.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and stock maintenance to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Area Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- Driving: Valid driver's license (not always required, but a plus for driving stock trucks).
